    Gain an overview of working within the medical field by learning medical terminology, administration procedures and correspondence. Explore further study and career pathways including general practice, specialist rooms, audio transcription, aged care facilities, pharmacy and others. Fridays 1pm - 4pm from 15th July for 7 weeks.     Whether you want to refresh or lean new skills this course will help you to become job ready. This course will give you a basic understanding of the cafe industry and teach you barista skills and knowledge required to produce hot beverages using a commercial machine. Lean how to grind coffee, extract quality expresso and texture milk. Monday & Thursdays - 1st, 4th, 8th & 11th August 2022, 9.30am - 2.30-pm.     If you are considering a career in bookkeeping or maybe you are a new business owner, then this is the place to start! Learn important bookkeeping terminology, essential accounting concepts such as double entry, as well as skills in financial reporting, managing GST and much more. This course incorporates 2 classes on Xero accounting package. Mondays & Wednesdays 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm from 1st August, for 6 weeks. Cost $100 (ACFE/concession) OR $120 (fee for service/3rd party).

    You will make a scarf and (if time permits) a beanie. Learn how to hold the hook and yarn in your hands and fingers (the hardest part) and learn how to make a slip knot, chain stitch, treble stitch, slip stitch and more! Starts Mondays 8th August 1pm - 3pm weekly for 4 weeks. Cost: $40.00 (no concession)

    Learn how to record, sort, analyse and present data in Microsoft Excel. Gain the confidence and skills necessary to use basic and advanced features of this essential spreadsheet program. This course runs for 2 weeks starting 26th August, 9am - 1pm. Cost $50

    This self-paced course will enable you to develop your keyboarding and office administration skills and boost your confidence in using Microsoft Office software for re-entering the workforce or getting your first job. It is an entry level course in office skills, however you will need to already have basic computer proficiency and know-how.
