Come along for trivia, games, prizes and the online silent auction! BYO food to share with your table and drinks available at bar prices All funds raised will go towards supporting MEDA’s advocacy programs and projects.

MEDA is hosting a session on Spell 2 Connect. MEDAs individual and Citizen Advocates invited. Facilitator Rachael Earwaker, a Spell 2 Connect practitioner and former Volunteer Citizen Advocate. S2C teaches individuals with motor challenges the purposeful motor skills necessary to spell, through pointing to letters as an alternative means of communication (AAC). As motor skills improve through consistent practice, people can begin to express their own thoughts and ideas, leading to more autonomy and independence. Tuesday 28th October 7pm – 8.30pm online.

Come to our Community Bystander Training and hear about the work of MEDA “Our community bystander training enables participants to learn practical communication tools to address harmful behaviours without using shame and guilt. We support participants to grow their skill and confidence, challenging stereotypes and disrupting discrimination.” Wednesday 27th August 10am - 1pm Level 1, 79 Mahoneys Rd, Forest Hill

We have got two different delicious food packs available for purchase to share with your family and friends: $50 each pack Dinner party pack: Pork and prawn spring rolls x 10 Tomato, cheese and chive scrolls X 10 Nana's sausage rolls x 10 Pumpkin and cheese arancini balls x 10 This pack will come frozen and ready to bake and enjoy fresh unless otherwise specified. Traditional home made Greek cuisine pack: Spanakopita pastries x 9 Kourabiedes cookies x 15 This pack will come freshly made and ready to enjoy! Patisserie classes with former pastry chef of Ottolenghi in London. We are running 2 classes on Sunday the 22nd of June! White chocolate and raspberry choux buns (10am-12pm) Chocolate guinness cake with baileys cream and chocolate ganache (1pm-3pm) Each class is $100 per person. You will get to make these beautiful baked goods from scratch and of course take home what you bake! Come along to share a couple of hours on a Sunday with other lovely bakers!
