Join Ms Place, Sam and a cast of quirky woodland characters as you help solve the mystery of the missing bear. Families will follow the performers through the beautiful St Kilda Botanical Gardens on an interactive adventure filled with music, laughter and audience participation, before returning to the picnic spot where you are welcome to stay and enjoy your very own Teddy Bear’s picnic.

About the workshop leader:
Jennifer trained at the Guildford School of Acting and later at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, London. Jennifer is the Artistic Director of the Melbourne Shakespeare Company and has directed 12 of their productions including Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, and Twelfth Night. Outback Adventures is a hilarious new family musical with twists, turns, and a little bit of magic, the Wacky Wombat will take audiences on a wild ride through the Australian Outback.
Audiences can also expect larger than life characters, beautiful choreography, and toe-tapping sing-a-longs as they take the park this December.
We want to make the magic and excitement of live theatre accessible to all families by offering pay-what-you-can tickets for this production. This allows audience members to either grab a ticket for free or make a donation to the company as payment for their afternoons entertainment, aiming to reduce the financial barriers stopping many families accessing high-quality theatre.

This perfectly plotted play is filled with boundless energy, laughs and live music, suitable for people of all ages. The Comedy of Errors will take you on a whirlwind journey of chaos, confusion and comedy that will leave you seeing double.
This production is partly funded by the City of Port Phillip Local Festivals Fund.
