The Aldebaran Park Redwood Carnival is Maryborough’s Flagship Harness Racing Event. This All-Trotting Carnival is one of the most unique and popular harness racing events on Victoria’s provincial calendar. In 2025, Redwood Sunday has been boosted to be one of the most lucrative trotting races in the southern hemisphere and features two Group 1 Races – Victorian Trotters Derby and the Aldebaran Park Redwood Classic. Included also is the Group 3 Maryborough Trotters Cup. Across the weekend, there are a number of events planned welcoming everyone for Trivia and Fun on Friday night following Redwood Remembrance Race Day, Paul Costa Live on Saturday evening and a massive Family Day at the track planned for Sunday's Aldebaran Park Redwood Day. Maryborough Harness Racing Club would love to see you for a relaxed night after our Remembrance Race Day on Friday 31st October 2025. Hosted once again by the entertaining Greg from Trivia with Wheels, last year everyone had a ball of a time. The Redwood Trivia Night also raises funds for Team Teal, with $5 from every ticket donated directly to the cause along with the proceeds from memorabilia auctions held on the night.
