Reconciliation Week Screenings 2026

Join us this Reconciliation Week 2026 for a powerful evening of reflection, learning, and connection as we present a special screening of Genocide in the Wildflower State.
These thought-provoking films explore the truth of Australia’s history and challenge us to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal culture, resilience, and truth-telling. This event offers a space for the community to come together, listen, and engage in meaningful conversations around reconciliation.
Before the screening, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary tasting of kangaroo and damper — a small way to experience and appreciate traditional native foods.
Whether you’re beginning your reconciliation journey or continuing to build your knowledge, this evening is an opportunity to reflect, learn, and walk forward together.

Traditional Indigenous Games

Join an exciting collaboration between the Institute of Indigenous Wellbeing and Sport (IIWS) and the Shire of Narrogin.
This 3 hour program focuses on cultural connection for all children between 10-17 years. The program includes a cultural activity, traditional Indigenous games and a light lunch. Come and learn about indigenous culture.
The IIWS provides programs that use cultural connection as the catalyst to increase the health, and social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal Australians.
Arts Activity:
Traditional Indigenous Australian peoples were hunters and gatherers and were divided between men and women. We have organised a hunting and gathering activity for participants to learn about why this is important to Indigenous People.
