North Bellarine Film Festival

The 9th annual NBFF is back with another exciting program of Australian and international feature and short films! The annual Emerging Filmmaker Award, which is sponsored by the Portarlington Film Society, and the Emerging Documentary Filmmaker Award, which is co-sponsored by the Geelong Waterfront Foundation and the Community Bank Portarlington & Drysdale, will be awarded at the award ceremony on Saturday evening. The audience will also have the opportunity at the awards ceremony to vote for their favourite Emerging Filmmaker. The People's Choice Award was created in 2023 and is sponsored by the St Leonards Film Society.

Come along to the Indented Head Community Hall for a fantastic afternoon of eight short films created by some of Victoria's best young filmmakers!

It's back! The Geelong Short Film Festival @ Boronggook returns to Drysdale to bring another great evening of short films and speakers. Presented in partnership by The North Bellarine Film Festival and Boronggook Drysdale Library to provide an amazing community event and opportunity for independent creatives to display their work. There will also be an opportunity to hear from some of the creators and representatives of the North Bellarine Film Festival. This event is free but space is limited so register your attendance now!
