Earth Canvas

Earth Canvas is a project linking artists with Regenerative Farmers to create a better future.6 Artists and 6 Regenerative farmers will work together and produce a body of artwork to be displayed at the November 2019 Open Days on farms on the SW slopes between the Murray and Murrumbidgee Rivers. Each day will be unique and with guest speakers, farmer and artist talk, interactive activities for all age groups. Healthy locally produced food included and prepared by local chefs.

    Open day for everyone. Families Farmers and Friends. Town and Country people all welcome Bibbaringa a Regenerative farm at Bowna with artist John Wolseley. View the art works in the WoolShed. Enjoy a local food lunch included provided by a local chef. Talk with Artist, farmer, Guest speaker, Chef Farm tour and Bus around farm and Walk with Artist and Farmer. A day to enjoy. Take a fresh look at agriculture and talk about the production of food from healthy soil

    Eurimbla is at the foot hills of Tabletop Mountain near Gerogery. Idris Murphy a contemporary Landscape artists will share his interpretation of the landscape. View the artwork and enjoy a farm tour and talking to the artists the farmer and a guest speaker Enjoy local food lunch included A day out in a beautiful environment looking at the landscape and the management of the land for 1000's of years.

    Visit a large scale Beef Cattle Property near Holbrook along the 10 mile creek. At Mt Narra Narra and see how artist Jenny Bell has interpreted the landscape.Jenny says she brings something down to its essential qualities. You will have a farm bus ride, talk to the artist and guest speaker. Included lunch of local food provided by a local chef.

    Yammacoona at Little Billabong north of Holbrook has hosted printmaker Ros Atkins to enjoy the beautiful rolling hills of the SW slopes. Ros has an obsession with trees. She says "Trees in the landscape are the memory and document the history of the landscape." Enjoy a journey of a tree through the eyes of a printmaker. Talk to the artist the farmer the chef. and a guest speaker and farm tour. local food provided by local chef all included

    Yabtree West runs 6 km on the south side of the Murrumbidgee River East of Wagga Wagga.. Janet Laurence will produce a body of work to explain what she has learnt from her experience on a Regenerative farming business. Janet uses different mediums and a sense of wake up awareness of the fragility of the natural world. At the open day visitors will hear a perspective from the artist, the farmer,climate champions and a chef. Local food will be provided by a local chef and all included.

    The open day at Mundarlo is sure to be full of colour and vibrance with artist Jo Davenport . The granite hills to alluvial flats of the Murrumbidgee river have secrets to be told.
