

Earth Canvas
Earth Canvas is a project linking artists with Regenerative Farmers to create a better future.6 Artists and 6 Regenerative farmers will work together and produce a body of artwork to be displayed at the November 2019 Open Days on farms on the SW slopes between the Murray and Murrumbidgee Rivers. Each day will be unique and with guest speakers, farmer and artist talk, interactive activities for all age groups. Healthy locally produced food included and prepared by local chefs.

Saturday 8 May 2021Regenerative farm tour & art talk & walk. Meeting at Swan Hill Regional Gallery to view the Earth Canvas Travelling Exhibition featuring leading Australian artists who worked on 6 regen farms in Southern NSW.The open day follows on to Mallee Organics where traditional fibre weaver Glenda Nicholls produced an art work. Between Saturday 13 March 2021 and Sunday 14 March 2021A Writers and Readers Festival on a Regenerative farm north of Albury in southern NSW. A TWO DAY EVENT! Saturday March 13 2021 - Writers in Conversation from 9am to 4.30pm. Saturday night a Paddock to Plate Dinner with Alison Pouliot author of The Allure of Fungi. Local produce, includes a Glass of wine from Posh Plonk. Sunday March 14 Creative Writing with leading authors on the farm. Between Saturday 20 February 2021 and Sunday 21 February 2021Jo Davenport is an Albury based artists represented by leading Melbourne & Sydney galleries. The workshop is for artists & beginners. Jo will take participants through a series of stages to examine the art of abstraction. As Jo says "The difference between looking & seeing. Emotion in Landscape painting, abstracting the Landscape and the space between. Participants will be given a material list prior to the workshop & can work on a major work during the weekend.
