Phillip Island Community and Learning Centre

The Phillip Island Community Adult Learning Centre (PICAL) is a not for profit community-based organisation providing a space to meet, socialise, learn, create and access information about local services. PICAL provides services such as emergency food relief, counselling, free hearing tests, employment services and a Centrelink Agency. We also have a number of community spaces available for hire for meetings, training, social gatherings and community groups

    Suitable for anyone who has a CURRENT CPR certificate issued in the last 12 months. Covers CPR and the use of semi-automatic defibrillators.  CPR at floor level on an adult manikin is a mandatory requirement.     Learn the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. Applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. Two days Sat 18 Jul & Sun 19 Jul. Statement of Attainment will be issued by National First Aid RTO 3981

This RSA program covers a range of topics including problems associated with excessive consumption of alcohol and the law, the question of who is responsible for RSA, facts about alcohol, enhancing the atmosphere of your premises and handling difficult customers. Please register for a USI at www.usi.gov.au prior to the course date and bring this to class.
