Mother's Day in the Valley

Bring Mum along for a delicious vegan Devonshire tea and Mother’s Day tour, where your guides will introduce you to all of our rescued animal Mums!
Your ticket includes a tour, Devonshire tea, (scones and jam, slices, cakes and gluten free treats) along with tea and coffee in the Sanctuary gardens.
Tours will be run at 10am and 11:30am. Please book for the 10am or 11:30am tour sessions. Refreshments will be available at the end of your tour.
This event occurs on the Sunday, 1 week before actual Mothers Day

Price includes Sanctuary tour, picnic hamper for two - vegan savouries and sweets, juice, water and picnic blanket. Attendees may BYO alcohol. Strong closed in shoes, hat and jackets are recommended. The Valley can be cool in the evening

Forest Sound Immersion.

Come bask in the beauty of the Possum Valley forest as you are bathed in the vibration of sounds.
Imagine yourself lying down amongst the jarrah trees, the warmth from the sun's light filtering down through the canopy. The scent of the forest filling your lungs, the distant beat of the kangaroos curiously joining us, as birds twitter and butterflies flitter about. While you are immersed in the sounds of crystal and metal singing bowls, with flutes and drum, chimes and bells. Offering you the opportunity to breath deep and relax into this beautiful spring day.
Please being a yoga mat, cushions and blankets, or whatever you need to be comfortable lying on the forest floor. As well as drinking water and comfortable clothing for the days weather.
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to the start time to find your space in the forest.

Come along and enjoy a picnic with some of our rescued animal friends while enjoying festive tunes in the peaceful surrounds of the Valley of Hope. There will be a cruelty free sausage sizzle, bake sale, fete stalls, PVAS merchandise, face painting for the kids (and adults!) and a nativity. Santa may also be making an appearance and taking short tours to visit his deer helpers, Elen and Freya!

A feast of country style comfort food, with bold flavours and generous portions! Starting with a ploughman’s platter of crafted cheeses, fresh flat bread, olive tapenade, pickles, pate and chilli jam. Following this is a delicious, creamy and comforting Greek inspired lemon rice soup, garnished with fresh herbs and chick’n style seitan. Next we move onto a mains of roasted veg, including truffle salted twice cooked potatoes, a hearty plant based wellington roast. Conclude with a rich pudding

Saved from the horrors of the dairy industry she now calls Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary home. She is however residing in a temporary holding paddock waiting for new fences, shelters and water troughs to be built. to help us raise funds for these, we're running a guessing game
