Project Bucephalus

Project Bucephalus is a robotics group that has been representing FIRST® in Wollongong since 2010. Named after the warhorse of Alexander the Great, Project Bucephalus competes in the FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Robotics Competition. The group has many years of experience running LEGO® robotics activities for children and adults.

  • Term 1 2019 (4th Feb - 8th Apr)
    Robo Club is an after-school robotics class. Students use LEGO MINDSTORMS technology to in a series of challenges and games designed to pass on critical STEM skills: computer programming, engineering, robotics, and more! The Nowra Junior Class runs at the Nowra Anglican College (NAC) and is designed for students aged 7-11. Older students should check out the Nowra Senior Class instead.

  • Tuesday 30 April 2019
    Rocketing Girls Into Robotics is a FREE program to launch Illawarra girls into STEM! Taught by the experienced members of Project Bucephalus, the program will seek to engage girls from Year 3 to Year 12. The program will run for 6 term-long sessions over 2018-2019, with students nominating for a single term. All equipment will be supplied. Ideally, students should be nominated through their school. However, general enquiries can be directed to coach@projectb.net.au.
