Canberra International Riesling Challenge
A wine show dedicated to Riesling in all of its styles. Annually assembling the largest collection of Riesling in the Southern Hemisphere, the Canberra International Riesling Challenge attracts entries from all of the major Riesling Regions of the world.
Thursday 17 October 2019Experts will guide you through Rieslings of Western Australia's Great Southern Region including the sub regions of Mt Barker, Porongurup, and Frankland River; and the Rieslings of Germany but not as you know them - Rieslings of Baden, Württemberg, Franken and Nahe. Daniel Hetherington, winemaker, Capel Vale Wines will present Rieslings from the Great Southern. Anne Krebiehl MW, wine writer and critic, author of the Wines of Germany, will present Germany - Off the Beaten track. A "must attend"Hotel Realm - High Courtyard North
