RI District 9675 covers the area from central Sydney NSW Australia out west to Campbelltown, down to Picton and on down to Kiama comprising approx 55 Rotary Clubs, 4 Rotaract Clubs and 14 Interact Clubs.
The Current District Governor is Warwick Richardson from The Rotary Club of Wollondilly North.

Rotary Emergency Services Community Awards (RESCA) NSW

6 pm Saturday 10 August 2024
The 10th Annual Rotary Community Service Awards are taking place on Saturday 10th August 2024, in the Grand Ballroom at Bankstown Sports, 8 Greenfield Parade, Bankstown. These Awards are a Vocational Service initiative of the Rotary Districts of New South Wales. In keeping with Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”, the Awards acknowledge and celebrate selfless Community Service of NSW Emergency Services Personnel while supporting two important Rotary initiatives - Australian Rotary Health PhD Research Scholarship into Mental Health in Emergency Service Personnel and a vocational Training Team providing Disaster Preparedness Training in Pacific Island Nations. Doors open at 6.00 pm with Canapes and a cash bar offered in the reception area. The Ballroom opens at 7.10 pm the Finalists and dignitaries will be piped in. Registration closes on Wednesday 24th July, 5.00 pm.

Brendan O’Keeffe, our new District Environment Chair, is organising an exclusive tour and engagement with the Mt Annan Royal Botanic Gardens facility, including the research and volunteer activity they undertake. Australian PlantBank Tour with Dr. Nathan Emery. Join us for a delightful morning tea followed by an exclusive tour of the Australian Plantbank. You'll have the opportunity to listen to Dr Nathan Emery, Manager of Seedbank and Conservation Collections to share his insights on the pivital role of seed banking, plant conservation and herbarium collections in securing the future of Australia's diverse plant life. This event is restricted to 25 participants.
