The Alfred Simulation Centre’s Simulation-based Learning Instructor Program (SLIP) is a two-day intensive professional development course designed for nursing staff and nurse educators involved in clinical teaching, staff development, and simulation-based training.
This program supports nurses in developing the essential knowledge and practical skills to design, facilitate, and debrief high-quality simulation-based learning experiences relevant to nursing practice. It focuses on enhancing clinical education, team communication, patient safety, and reflective practice within nursing environments.
Participants will engage with evidence-based educational principles and apply them through hands-on simulation activities in a supportive learning setting. The program is particularly suited to nurses involved in orientation, competency assessment, continuing professional development, and interdisciplinary training.
This course is closed to external participants. Please register with your Alfred email address.
