This is not an Under 18s only show, it's an all ages show. No booze, drugs or carry on. Just three scorching live bands and a chill, family friendly atmosphere Event put together by Simon Threadgate as part of Create Maitland. Create Maitland is a not for profit designed to showcase creatives, creative endeavours and spaces. Imaginary Things describe themselves as "a carnival of cool creation. Twin guitars swirling around in a crazed hypnotic dance, rhythmically engaged in a solid Bass groove behind a relentless pounding Rock beat. Add a singer that purges souls with thunderous vocals, that's Imaginary Things!" The Midnight Vultures are a Maitland based band of experienced musos, the band blends the progressive intricacies of Tool with the catchy hooks of Blink-182 and the quirky grooves of Primus, all while channelling the spirit of 90s alternative rock. Revenant are a young band bringing heavy riffs and youthful vigour to the stage to kick off proceedings.

Saturday, 2nd November – Doors open 6:30 for a 7:00 PM show Get ready for an evening of electrifying entertainment with TarantEASO, presented by the Wollombi Burlesque Troupe - with a live band set to ROCK the hits from Quentin Tarantino's greatest flicks whilst the performers embody the wild & wicked characters you know & love. Bring your dancing shoes! This show is a bold and playful mix of burlesque, cabaret, music, comedy, and multimedia, guaranteed to keep you laughing and gasping in equal measure. The Troupe’s performers know how to push boundaries in a way that is cheeky, fun, and ultimately entertaining. This is a night to come prepared for the unexpected – witty, unapologetic, and fiercely entertaining, TarantEASO is an experience that promises to be a highlight of the season. Sun Street Studios is a great place to sit back and enjoy the performing arts.

Create Maitland is a not for profit designed to showcase creatives, creative endeavours and spaces. This is the first in a planned line of All Ages Arvo shows at Sun Street Studios, providing creatives a space for over a decade in the "other" end of Maitland. Butterknife bring a keytar, serious low end and great songwriting and have a hot debut EP out now titled Lilith. Caster are a young thrash band who will bang the head that doesn't bang and have you holding handfuls of invisible oranges as you hit metal heaven. Check out their single Price Gouge Me. Industry Plant are a young grunge band, best in Newcastle by their own estimation. Check out their cracking single Riot.

conspiRACY at Sun Street! Legs 11 11 returns to Sun Street Studios, Maitland with wackiness, hilarity and multimedia, with her one woman show (with special guests) conspiRACY. weaving together comedy, burlesque & cabaret ... she dares you to follow her down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole. Winner of Newcastle Fringe Individual Artist Award 2024, Legs 11 11, is sure to shock, bemuse and entertain. Sun Street Studios is always a great place to sit back and enjoy the arts.
