This in-person workshop will be held at Yoga Lyfe and will run from 12–3pm. The afternoon will include: Two Awareness Through Movement® lessons A guided talk and shared discussion The focus of this workshop is Comfort — exploring how reducing unnecessary effort can support clearer organisation, greater ease, and more comfortable movement. Through gentle, guided movement, there will be opportunities to notice how the body organises itself when force is reduced. It is an opportunity to explore these ideas within the support of a group, allowing learning to unfold through shared presence and individual experience. The workshop is suitable for a wide range of bodies and movement experiences. No prior experience with the Feldenkrais Method is required. Light afternoon tea will be provided.

Online Class Series: Finding Your Hip Joints

Finding Your Hip Joints — A 6-Class Series Many of us have only a vague sense of our hip joints, often moving from the lower back, pelvis or legs without clearly sensing where the leg meets the pelvis. This 6-week online series explores how greater awareness of the hip joints can influence comfort, coordination and ease throughout the whole self. Through gentle Feldenkrais lessons, we will explore the relationship between the legs, hip joints and pelvis. As these relationships become clearer, the lower back often has less work to do, allowing walking, bending and everyday movement to feel lighter and more comfortable. Together, we will explore how sensing the hip joints more clearly can influence balance, mobility and the organisation of the whole self. Pathways to Embodiment In-Person Workshop

This two-part in person workshop series explores how the nervous system organises action, shaping how we move, balance and adapt. Each session includes two Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes and a guided group discussion, blending practice with reflection. Inward – Workshop 1: Finding Your Centre Centre is not a fixed point but a dynamic reference we can return to. The nervous system continually seeks equilibrium, providing stability without rigidity and supporting adaptability and ease. Outward – Workshop 2: Navigating Transitions Everyday transitions become opportunities for exploration. Curiosity and variation help the nervous system adapt with confidence and lightness, supporting our ability to move outward into the world. Workshops can be taken separately, but doing both offer a more complete experience of inward and outward exploration. Private Health Insurance Rebates may be available for eligible attendees.
