Ever wanted to experience the thrill of clay target shooting? No licence? No problem. Our Come & Try Days are designed for beginners and first-timers, with experienced volunteers guiding you every step of the way in a safe, welcoming environment. 📍 Location: Toowoomba Clay Target Club, 10648 Warrego Hwy, Charlton 📅 When: 3rd Saturday of every month ⏰ Time: 1:00pm sharp (Please arrive by 12:45pm to allow time for sign-in and safety induction) Important: Sessions start at 1:00pm sharp. Late arrivals may forfeit their booking. 🎯 WHAT’S INCLUDED For $90, you’ll receive: • 25 clay targets • Shotgun hire • Ammunition • Safety briefing and coaching from experienced volunteers If time permits, additional rounds of 25 targets are available on the day for $40. 👤 WHO CAN ATTEND • Ages 11 and up • No firearms licence required • Participants under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian 🧍 WHAT TO BRING • Photo ID (or student/Medicare card for under 18s – supervising adult must have photo ID) • Enclosed footwear (no sandals or heels) • Avoid puffer jackets (they interfere with proper gun mounting) • A great attitude and willingness to have a go 🛡️ SAFETY & EXPERIENCE Safety is our top priority. All participants will: • Complete a mandatory safety briefing and short video • Be supervised by experienced club volunteers • Receive basic coaching throughout the session Please allow 2+ hours at the range.
