Nobody's Fool

Between Wednesday 8 April 2026 and Saturday 18 April 2026
Myrtle Banbury, the queen of the romantic novel, is back. You may remember, from 2024’s production Nobody’s Perfect, Myrtle is in fact Leonard Loftis a divorced man, living with his head strong, but loving daughter Dee Dee and his scheming rascally father Gus. This time Leonard is faced with the problem of explaining the whereabouts of Myrtle as an investigative journalist cum TV presenter arrives to interview the famous author. With webcam, ear pieces and speakers, the family sets up an ill-fated three-way telephone call from Aunt Myrtle, who is supposedly somewhere up the Amazon. To add to the confusion the novelist's former wife arrives, having never met her ex-husband's talented Aunt Myrtle - the ensuing chaos is fun for all!

The Butler did it!

When it comes to solving murder mysteries, it’s always the one you least suspect! The very proper butler Jenkins and the fiery Cockney maid Sarah Jane are preparing the Covington household for a visit from Edwina Corry, the world’s greatest mystery author and friend to Lady Miranda and Colonel Covington. Other guests arriving include Lady Covington’s feisty old mother, their high-flying daughter Kat, their chatty priest who doesn’t know when to quit and the caddish, eavesdropping neighbour boy Trevor. Things are soon thrown into confusion, however, when Trevor is found stabbed to death in the kitchen. On her arrival, Edwina eagerly launches an investigation into the murder. Unfortunately, the evidence is stacked against poor Jenkins from the start, and when the bloody knife is found in his pocket, the other members of the household tie him to a chair and call the police. The only problem? Jenkins didn’t do it. And now he’s got just half an hour to figure out who the real murderer is — while still tied to the chair.

Who's Dying to Be a Millionaire - Youth Production

"Answer this next question and win a million dollars!" bellows Reginald Smarmy, the oily host of the hottest game show in town. But what can any-one do when a contestant responds correctly to a challenging question... and immediately falls down dead?. With horror happening before every-one's eyes, director Clovis Darnell has her hands full dealing with a police chief who is trying to cancel this popular show while the studio vice presi-dent is aggressively skirmishing to keep it on the air. After all, ratings have never been better! Numerous wild characters combine to make one oddball thriller! Contest-ants are dropping as fast as the wisecracks in a wild, riotous lampoon of quiz shows, politics and basic human nature. After all, what would you answer if someone asked you, "Are you dying to be a millionaire?"

Lend me a Soprano

Lucille Wiley, the fiery manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, is preparing for a one-night-only performance of the opera Carmen starring the world-renowned soprano Elena Firenzi. Chaos erupts when Elena arrives late, her jealous husband Pasquale causes a scene, and a series of misunderstandings including a nosy bellhop and a sexy Swedish tenor threaten to derail the evening. However, Jo, Lucille’s shy but resourceful assistant, steps up to save the performance—and perhaps discover her own voice in the process. Lend Me a Soprano by Ken Ludwig (of Lend Me a Tenor fame) is filled with mistaken identities, bed-hopping, and door-slamming. So, join us for an hilarious evening of farce and frolic with a touch of romance!

Look no Hans!

The play is set in the early 1990s at the West Berlin office of a British car company. Peter Fisher, the manager, is finding it difficult to sell British cars to the German public, who are buying BMWs and VWs. He is also a secret agent, though clearly not very good at it. His mistress, Heidi, shows up, complaining it's too hot, leading to a comical suggestion that she sunbathe on the roof. The situation escalates with the arrival of Mitzi, a scantily clad singing telegram girl, who is hidden in the kitchen and eventually asked to make an omelet.

Adrian: The Alternative Pantomime

Adrian’s not your typical inhabitant of Pantoland. He’s level-headed, and can spot the difference between a wolf and a Granny. But due to unfortu-nate circumstances, he’s got the job of Fairy Godmother - for everyone! Don’t be fooled all your favourite characters, and more, will be there to add to the fun. Red Riding Hood, Dame Drippington, Belle, Jack, Little Bo Peep, Geppetto, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Not to mention the wolf, the bean seller and a policeman or 2.

When Alice escapes from the gloomy “Home for Lost & Unwanted Girls,” she finds herself in a magical world of madness. But it’s not all quirky creatures and giggles! The power-hungry Queen of Hearts has set her sights on Alice’s enchanted watch, sending the lovable gardener Jack to steal it. Instead, Jack and Alice join forces to take on the Queen and her silly sidekicks. Join in on the laugh-out-loud slapstick comedy, boo the baddies, cheer for the heroes, and get ready for heaps of audience participation! With over-the-top costumes, lively sing-alongs, and an outrageously funny Dame, this Alice in Wonderland pantomime has something for everyone. Featuring classic characters like the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the Cheshire Cat, and, of course, the White Rabbit, it’s a thrilling adventure with a happy ending for Alice and Jack.

Girl of the Frozen North

Harrington Cesspool, who has his sights set on capturing the innocent Nettie Neetfoot. This comedy is a brilliant showcase of amateur dramatics gone wrong, promising a chaotic and unforgettable evening of slapstick humour and good-hearted fun.
