IB Mathematics and Graphic Display Calculator purchase

Friday 28 July 2023
Your son is required to have access to a Graphic Display Calculator (GDC) throughout his study of Mathematics (and other subjects) in the IBDP. No matter what IB Mathematics course your son has chosen he will need to have access to an approved IBDP Graphic Display Calculator, this includes for use in his internal Mathematics Assessment tasks throughout Year 11, 12 and in the external IB examination(s). The Mathematics Faculty has been using an IBDP approved Casio GDC. We recommend the Casio fx-CG50Au as the preferred model for our IBDP candidature.

Year 7 Swap Day 2 | Thursday 23 February 2023

Thursday 23 February 2023
Are you curious as to what actually goes on in class? How do you find your way around a big School? How do students manage with all those books? What do we do at assemblies and during Tutor period? Now is your opportunity to find the answers to these questions and to participate as a student in what we hope will be a rewarding educational experience. On this day you will “swap” your usual occupation for school and metaphorically “swap” places with your son. He will be excused from lessons to attend an in-School activity on the day you attend, and you will take his place in class alongside other parents and students.

Stories from Suburban Road

Between Wednesday 4 August 2010 and Saturday 7 August 2010
A vividly nostalgic and distinctly Australian look at growing up in semi-rural South Perth, significantly set between two world wars (1923-1932), concluding with the outbreak of the second world war and Tom’s entry into adulthood. The episodic narrative over seven stories, while delicately and humourously recapturing the past, reveals themes such as growing up, family relationships, sexuality, mateship and racism alongside the genteel but impoverished parents and three exuberant siblings.
