FBC Early Pregnancy Education & Tour

Between Saturday 20 December 2025 and Sunday 27 December 2026
Welcome to King Edward Memorial Hospital's Family Birth Centre! The FBC is the only stand-alone Birth Centre in Western Australia. It provides a Continuity of Care service for pregnant families, supporting them antenatally, intrapartum and postpartum up to 10 days. The facilities boast a calm, home-like environment, supporting the natural physiology of labour. At our Early Pregnancy education session, our midwives will provide you an overview of: - our philosophy and the model of care provided at FBC, - how our midwives provide care for families at the FBC, - the benefits of continuity of care; including a look at our fantastic statistics, - our eligibility criteria explained, - an early pregnancy health and wellness discussion, and - a tour of the FBC birth and pool room/s* *Tours of our rooms is subject to availability on the day with space available to our labourers being our first priority.
