You will be guided through the creation of 3 different stacker rings by Shannon Bride a local jewellery maker & metalsmith. Over the 3 hour workshop you will learn to size, measure, cut, anneal, shape, solder & polish your lovely sterling silver rings ready to wear home. The workshop is all inclusive, including safety wear & aprons. Please wear closed in shoes, non flowing sleeves & bring your glasses if you require them. Coffee, tea & biscuits are provided.

Immerse yourself in the ancient world of silversmithing, where you will create a pair of sterling silver textured or stamped studs and a stamped or textured ring. (pictured) In this 3 hour workshop you will be guided through the basics of designing, annealing, stamping, texturing, soldering and finally filing, sanding and polishing your beautiful creations ready to take home. Bubbles and nibbles, tea and coffee provided. Everything is included in the costs, including safety glasses, masks and aprons. *Please wear appropriate clothing (no wide dangling sleeves or necklaces) and closed in footwear.

Join an intimate group of 3 to delve into the world of basic silversmithing. You’ll get to walk away with a lovely ring & pair of studs. These will make beautiful Xmas/ birthday gifts that you have handcrafted yourself. In this workshop you will create one pair of sterling silver studs (as pictured) & a sterling silver stamped or textured band (picture for example) You will first choose the design stamps for your ring. Learn to cut the silver Anneal the metal Stamp or texture, choosing from 50+ stamps.(designs or words) Shape into a ring. Solder the posts onto your studs & solder your band together. Another option is to make your ring adjustable without solder. We will be using a few hand tools & there will be lots of sanding & polishing in this workshop, so avoid getting a manicure beforehand. Coffee, Tea, Bubbles & Nibbles Provided. Everything supplied including safety goggles, masks & aprons. Please wear appropriate clothing & closed in footwear. Cost: $200.00 per person.

In this workshop we will be creating 2 beautiful pairs of stamped/ textured earrings, one pair Brass & the other a small Sterling Silver pair. You will also learn to create your own Sterling Silver Ear Wires. Choose from 50 + metal stamps & textures & create your own design. You will: *cut each disk. *Create your sterling ear wires. *Drill holes for your ear wires. *Anneal the metal to soften it, (allowing for easier & deeper stamping) *Stamp your pattern/ texture. *Use the dapping block to dome them. *Sand & File. *Blacken the Patterns if wanted. *Polish. There will be a small class of four, to ensure everyone receives a step by step, one on one walk through the creative process. We will have bubbles and nibbles, with coffee, tea and water available also. This will be a 3 hour silver ring making workshop, where I will guide you through measuring & cutting your ring blank, then the processes of annealing, stamping, texturing, soldering & finally polishing a ring that you will take home with you. There will just be an intimate group of 2 participants & we will sip & solder with bubbles, a small platter & tea, coffee & water available. *please wear appropriate clothing & closed in shoes. This will be a 3 hour silver ring making workshop, where I will guide you through the basics of silversmithing to create 2 rings you will take home with you! One soldered ring & one adjustable ring. You will: *Learn how to measure your ring size. *Cut your ring blanks. *Anneal. *Choose your metal stamp/s , letters & numbers indifferent fonts, embellishments, animals, insects, zodiac & celestial stamps. *choose your texture plate for your adjustable ring. *Hand forge *Hallmark the inside. *Texture & Stamp both of your rings. *Solder & remove Fire Scale. *File, sand & polish. There will just be an intimate group of 3 participants & we will sip & solder with bubbles, a small platter, tea, coffee, biscuits & water also available. This is a 2 hour workshop where you will be guided through the processes of creating two different adjustable sterling silver rings, by Shannon Bride of Headrush Jewellery. One of your rings will be a stamped sterling silver ring using a choice of different metal stamps available & the other you will delve into the art of texturing the silver to create a thumb ring. *There is no soldering in this workshop. *Please wear appropriate clothing & enclosed footwear. *Safety glasses & masks will be supplied.
