Wingecarribee Public Libraries work to support the information and recreation needs of our local community.

There are branches in three central locations at Bowral, Mittagong and Moss Vale, and a mobile library that travels nearly 10,000 km a year across the Shire.

Snapology - Term 2 STEAM program (additional session)

Wingecarribee Public Libraries are excited to announce a new PILOT program for 8-14 years during Term 2 2024. The course "Developing Engineers" offers students a hands on exploration of fundamental machines and engineering processes. Each week participants will delve into a new concept and construct a corresponding model. All equipment will be provided. COST: $12.50 per session (term fees are due when arriving on Monday 6 May) AGE: 8-14 years DURATION: Every Monday from 6 May through to Monday 1 July 2024 TIME: 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm LOCATION: Henrietta Rose Room, Bowral Library TERMS AND CONDITIONS We reserve the right to cancel the program due to low registrations or any other unforeseen circumstances. A full refund will be provided in this case. Due to the nature of the program, makeup lessons or credits are not offered for any reason.

Living Stories Writing Workshops - 15+ years

Join us for a FREE 90-minute creative writing workshop hosted by Adam Byatt to help improve your craft in short story and poetry. This workshop is for 15+ years including adults. Adam Byatt is a high school English teacher cataloguing story ideas on Post It notes and sticks them on the fridge door. His writing explores the pockets of suburban life and their unique impact on individuals. Adam is also an artist, a drummer, and the overall winner for the Living Stories Writing Prize in 2021 and 2022. These workshops will also help you generate ideas to create an entry piece of writing for the Living Stories Writing Prize. Registrations are essential.
