FRIENDLYJORDIES PRESENTS: ALIEN HUNTER

Saturday 2 August 2025
Get ready for a comedy show that’s truly out of this world. Friendlyjordies is diving deep into the UFO phenomenon. Not with the tired "anything unidentified that flies is a UFO" bit, but with actual ALIENS. Yes, he genuinely believes the U.S. government is hiding alien spacecraft, and he’s risking over a decade of hard-earned credibility to convince you. Why? Because if it’s true, it’s the coolest thing ever—and not, at least you’ll have a laugh watching him unravel. Following the success of his Rome and Byzantine Empire shows, this is his latest hyperfixation, so buckle up for 90 minutes of meticulously researched alien theories delivered with the same obsessive energy he puts into painting every tiny detail on his Warhammer miniatures. Whether you're a sceptic, a believer, or just here for the ride, this show promises to beam you up to comedy gold. Winner of the Comic’s Lounge best new show for the 2025 Melbourne Comedy Festival period. NB: swearing and adult themes.Suitable for 15+

FILTER FUN PARK - THE MUSICAL

Between Sunday 14 September 2025 and Wednesday 17 September 2025
Filter Fun Park is a fun, educational journey through the human body, using personified foods and body parts to explore how the dietary choices we make impact the way our body functions. Fictional comedy, educational facts, and energetic original music combine to talk about our health, specifically that of our kidneys, in a way it's never been talked about before, and all performed by students from Public Schools across the Hunter Region. With characters such as Brian Brain, Stanley Stomach and Maisel Mouth, along with Aisle 3 and 9 foods, Filter Fun Park is an opportunity for students to learn and educate others. Combining high potential and gifted creative students from across the Hunter in performance to share important facts and information to other schools and the community, focusing on a topic that is on the rise yet preventable, provides an experience like no other.
