A Y2K comedy about three small-town girls who are thrilled to get a record deal until they realise they've become pawns in a plot to subliminally control America's youth through their music.

Queen of Hearts Gay Speed Dating

Get off the apps and mingle the old fashioned way, at Pride of our Footscray's new monthly gay speed dating event!
Each event will be hosted by the camp and charismatic Sam T who will help you with icebreakers and conversation starters, and even perform a fabulous drag show.
Doors open 6pm with speed dating running 6:30 - 8:30pm. Each ticket is $20 includes a free house beer, wine, or spirit. Book online or pay at the door (bookings preferred).

Pride of our Footscray proudly presents the finest queer comedy in the West (or anywhere frankly)!
Pride Comedy is one of Melbourne's most hilarious events, featuring a rotating line-up of different talented LGBTQIA+ comedians every single month. Visit @pridecomedyau on Instagram for line-up updates.
Tickets are just $20 each, with cocktail and food packages also available! You can also feel free to bring takeaway from one of the fantastic restaurants nearby.
Doors open at 6:30pm, so please come early to get your drinks and food before the show starts. The show starts at 7:30pm and runs for approximately two hours (including intermission).

Join us on Saturday May 31 for an afternoon of Pride's famous drag bingo extravaganza, with fabulous hosts HollyPop and Teddy Clitter.
With every ticket sold and drink purchased, you'll be supporting Dykes on Bikes to keep their engines roaring. But that's not all - a portion of funds raised will also go to Rainbow Community Angels to support their mission of keeping LGBTIQA+ communities safe at community events.
So grab a cocktail, order some delicious bites from the bar (think pizza, chips, and garlic bread) or BYO snacks, and get ready for an unforgettable evening of fun and community! Sneakerheads Album Launch

The funky Footscray hip hop group, Sneakerheads (Al-flex, Vision, DJ Daily and Mellow Sea) have recently released their 2nd project, titled "Vibin' Out!"
To celebrate the release they will be launching their album in style, performing live at Pride of our Footscray on Thursday 24th April (ANZAC DAY EVE)! Joining them will be support acts The Inkermen, Billali , Rhooka and Stones, Shynin Armour and DJ Vawnagraphic and Ed Word.
This is a must see show filled with local talent, great vibes and plenty of fun at the best night club in the West!
USBs of the Vibin' Out project will be available on the night for $10 each. Spread the word, and all are welcome!

Thanks to Pride of our Footscray, Ground Level is bringing together its members to show some community love and raise money for GenZine with a fundraiser Drag Bingo hosted by HollyPop!
GenZine’s is an annual gender equity art and discussion magazine is based in Melbourne's West, focused on youth-led empowerment and social justice.
Ground Level is a unique club for people in business to build local community connections and regain a sense of control, based in the inner west of Melbourne.
Ground Level’s members and local small businesses have generously donated over $1200 worth of prizes for the raffle including yoga classes, wine, gift cards, and more!

Humane Animal Rescue is a 100% volunteer run registered charity, raising money to rescue cats & dogs facing euthanasia. The funds raised will go directly towards vet bills for animals.

Get ready for a night of fabulous fun with Pride Drag Bingo hosted by HollyPop, raising funds for the development of Big Johnny.
Film Synopsis: Set in Melbourne's western suburbs, middle-aged Aussie battler Johnny reluctantly finds himself back at work in his brother's warehouse after a career setback. However, an unexpected encounter with the vibrant drag scene at a local bar introduces Johnny to an exhilirating new world.
About the Film: Big Johnny is a Swinburne University Honors Graduate short-film. The film is to be shot at Pride of our Footscray and neighbouring areas around Melbourne, and serves as a love letter to the Western suburbs of Melbourne while weaving together a narrative that celebrates identity, courage, and belonging.

One of Pride's very favourite people is embarking on surgery, top surgery.
And, at least not yet, gender affirming top surgery is NOT covered (much) by Medicare, leaving Maddie with a stack of bills higher than our drag queen's wig!
So come along for a fun night for a good cause. Pride's going to donate half the ticket money to Maddie, as well as money from drinks (alc and non-alc), from food, from bingo tix and all the rest, so it will be easy to help as you enjoy yourself.
This is a Friday night as it's too big for a Wednesday night!

Michael Kelly was a gay man, activist and a Catholic who advocated for a radical re-imagining of Catholicism (and other forms of religion) to be explicitly inclusive of all genders and sexualities. A collection of essays celebrating the legacy of Michael Bernard Kelly, titled Into Your Hands (edited by Andrew Brown, published by Clouds of Magellan), has been recently released, reflecting on these intersections between religion, spirituality and sexuality. This event will have a speaker from the book sharing some reflections, followed by structured & unstructured time for people to have conversations about what religion, spirituality, and sexuality mean to them. We encourage people to attend what will be a night of great discussion and thought.

The exciting late session on Pride's first night back!! We're so excited. Tonight is the first night back so come and say hello, we can't wait to catch up with everyone. We'll be celebrating with a very special Self-Bingolation, featuring the spectacular Aurora Arsenic from a hidden location. Pride will look amazing on the night and tix are strictly limited so book fast! Bingo begins at 8:30pm and finishes at 10:30pm but everyone's welcome to stay until 1am if they wish.

We also have on board a professional photographer with a booth setup taking photos on entry.

Pride is having a private thank you party for New Year's Eve to show its appreciation to its regulars, staff, performers, suppliers & part owners. The event is therefore invite only, with start at 4pm & end at 9pm, enabling people to enjoy their traditional New Year Eve activities for the rest of the night. They'll be great drag entertainment with big shows at 6pm & 8pm and certain drinks are provided all night; i.e. Goat Beer, House Wine, Pimms, Sangria, Mojitos, Gin Fizz & Soft Drink.

It's a British style pantomime with all the trimmings; English director, drag queens, staff cameos, hilarious jokes, bad jokes, cliched jokes and... audience participation!
