QACI Unearthed - Original Music Showcase

Tuesday 13 October 2026
For the first time, QACI is putting original student music centre stage. Join us for QACI Unearthed, an evening dedicated entirely to music written, created and performed by QACI’s IB Music students. Inspired by the spirit of triple j Unearthed, QACI Unearthed celebrates the original artists, songwriters, composers, producers and performers within our school community. With no genre restrictions, audiences can expect an eclectic night of original music spanning solo artists, bands, ensembles, collaborations and entirely new musical creations. For our Year 10 and 11 IB Music students, the event provides an authentic opportunity to develop, rehearse and professionally record performance material suitable for their Presenting Music folios, while also opening the door to further developing and recording original works for future release or collaborative projects. For our Year 12 Music students, QACI Unearthed is an opportunity to take to the stage and showcase the original work they have created throughout their two-year IB Diploma journey. This is more than a showcase. It’s an opportunity for QACI’s emerging musicians to create something of their own, find the people who can help bring it to life, and share it with an audience. Write it. Form the band. Unearth it. 📅 Tuesday 13 October 2026 🕡 6:30pm 📍 QACI Theatre QACI Unearthed is a QACI student event inspired by the opportunities provided by triple j Unearthed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by triple j or the ABC.
