About
Theatia Podsie is an opportunity to bring back the lost art of radio plays, making performances accessible to individuals who are unable to attend live productions. The project is the brainchild of Emma Louise Watson — an avid creator and supporter of the Arts in the Geelong region and the head of Greater Geelong Creative Inc (GGCI) — and we are grateful to have had Emma's blessing to continue it in her stead from 2022 onwards.This year's THEATIA PODSIE event, the annual podcast festival in which Someone New takes local playwrights' contributions, compiles them into a poetry anthology, and then records and distributes them as podcast performances, is proudly in collaboration with Eastern Hub Geelong.
We are very pleased to have a group of local poets contributing to our anthology this year, in a project led by the wonderful Jo Lusty.
