Kalang River Classic is a paddling race around Newry Island on the Kalang River in Urunga. This paddling race is open to Dragon Boats, Outrigger Canoes (OC6 and OC1, OC2), Surf skis, Kayaks, and Stand Up Paddle Boards and junior SUP and Kayak. It is hosted by the Kalang River Dragon Boat Club.
