Rachel Scott (cello) and Raffaele and Janet Agostino (classical guitars) have been playing together for several years. The combination of cello and classical guitars is a very special one – warm, familiar and yet a little different, inviting and intimate.
Together, the three friends will present their favourite bespoke arrangements of music composed by, or inspired by, J.S. Bach, including Richard Charlton’s Bach-blended “Constructs”, Klezmer pieces and arrangements of folk songs by Vincent Lindsey-Clark.
Limited seating for 50 guests in a lovely home with a performance space and comfortable seating. The performance will begin at 6pm and will be followed by drinks and some light bites (provided) and a chance to mingle.
Hosts Bill and Libby want to offer opportunities for Canberra audiences to share their passion for the classical guitar, its varied and interesting repertoire and for the very high level of talent present in the region.
