A theatrical-historical tour with storytellers, actors and singers. Walk the 184-year-old town's High Street. Hear the barmaid’s stories: an accidental shooting death, the secret tunnel from the hotel to ‘a certain place’, the feud between High Street and ‘the lower town’, the penny farthing cycle races. Hear drinking songs, dance hall & barbershop songs. See the Kenny Blake motorbike sculpture, the Robin Hood Hotel, the Institute / Town Hall, antiques shops, cafes & barber shop, the Motor Museum and the Commercial Hotel. History from the 1800s to the mid-1900s. Finish with refreshments at the iconic 175-year-old St Andrews Church. Part of the SA History Festival.Location
