Theme - Techniques to amplify and control the character of your subject.
It is easy to fall into the trap of simply producing a likeness. In this workshop a loose approach will be taken to the subject, concentrating more on creating an atmosphere that characterizes what is being painted. It is often the simple, understated suggestions that give life and impact to our work. Focus will be on a range of techniques and approaches that put that “something extra” into paintings.
