Understanding and assessing young people at risk of violence
This full day workshop will provide participants with an understanding of the risk factors for violence in young people and discuss the implications for assessment and management. Case examples will be utilised throughout including a case review by Dr Deacon. He will focus on the criminogenic needs and idiographic factors leading to his formulation and risk summary.
The training will be facilitated by Dr Adam Deacon, Consultant Psychiatrist at Alfred Health, and Susan Hancox, the Youth Justice Mental Health Coordinator at Forensicare.
