This ACA national webinar on the digital transition, was presented together with BIM specialists Nathan Hildebrandt and Chandrasekar Rajamani who unpack the challenges and opportunities of the digital transition for architectural practice. Originally held 8 December 2022.
The architectural profession is becoming more and more challenging. With sustainability, procurement and tightening fees all making the profitable delivery of projects harder to obtain, what options do we have to assist us. In this webinar, Nathan explores the technology that exists that can help your practice reduce risks, find efficiencies, and bring you closer to the bottom line you need to achieve. Hear about the current trends in Government BIM requirements and how that is impacting the market today and into the future. Discover the common missing piece of the puzzle in digital transformation and lessons that Nathan has learnt over the last decade in implementing digital processes.
Knowing that the AEC sector is one of the least digitised, what does it take for companies to make the switch? Chandrasekar will share tips on what to expect when implementing digital processes and how to implement BIM in your practice. He will also demystify BIM jargon so you will understand that the switch is much bigger than just going from 2D to 3D.
