Picture the young women musicians of the Pieta, Venice, in the 1700's, standing behind the grilles in the church balconies. Picture a select audience of the aristocracy of Venice and of all Europe eagerly awaiting the virtuoso performance to come. And here it is - the major works Hasse Litaniae Lauretane, Porpora Laetatus sum and Galuppi Dixit Dominus; plus music of Lotti and Vivaldi. In our concert, balanced by wonderful works of our time by Dubra and Forrest. A breathtaking musical event.Location
