Teaming up with the Brunswick Community History Group, and led by their local experts, you’ll take a leisurely and incredibly insightful walk along Sydney Road Brunswick.This first tour for 2023 focuses on the buildings between Brunswick Road and Glenlyon Road, including:
• Sarah Sands Hotel
• Cable Tram Engine House (Black Street)
• Barkly Square
• Brunswick Hotel
• McDougalls Store
• Phoenix Hotel
• Miss R.E. Yon
• Cornish Arms Hotel
• Uniting (formerly Presbyterian) Church
• Brunswick Club (former Lyric Theatre)
• Brunswick Town Hall
Tours will be taking place on the 25th March, 2nd April and 15 April, starting at 11am and ending around 12-12.30pm.
Included in the ticket cost is your:
- Printed booklet with images and information on each of the stops
- Sydney Road Brunswick tote bag with collateral
- Walking tour and knowledge exchange
- Hot drink from a local café at the end of the tour
