Sunday Soirée: Masterworks at Glenfern (SOLD OUT)

Team of Pianists presents an intimate soirée in the historic Drawing Room at Glenfern, featuring music by Bach, Debussy, Chopin and Liszt.
Elizabeth Sellars (violin) and Rohan Murray (piano) perform the Sonata in E-major BWV 1016 (for violin & keyboard) by J S Bach and Debussy's mercurial Sonata for violin & piano. Rohan Murray and Robert Chamberlain combine for a piano duet arrangement of Liszt's famous Hungarian Rhapsody no 2, while Robert Chamberlain takes us on a journey through the music of Chopin with Nocturne in E minor Op. 72 no 1, Five Mazurkas Op. 7, the ever-popular Fantaisie Impromptu and the Scherzo no 2 in B flat minor Op. 31.
Two Sunday performances of this delightful program in Glenfern, East St Kilda, one at 3pm and the other at 6.30pm. You can also enjoy refreshments with other audience members, available from the Friends of the Team of Pianists group, at the conclusion of each recital.
