Finding Fungi - guided BioBlitz walk (SOLD OUT)

Join this guided fungi walk led by mycologist Ema Corro, and get an exciting look into the world of fungi. In this walk you'll learn how to use iNaturalist to document fungi for scientific research as well as the important roles of fungi in our ecosystem. Ema will be on hand to help you spot, learn about, and record your fungi sightings.
Ema Corro is a mycologist interested in fungal ecology, ecosystem restoration and cultivating fungi. She regularly teaches workshops and is involved with a number of citizen-science projects monitoring fungi.
This event is part of the City Nature Challenge - an annual global citizen science BioBlitz event running from Friday 28 April to Monday 1 May 2023. Over the four day challenge, we need your help to discover and document the unique animals, plants and fungi in our city using iNaturalist.
