Six Seasons Cultural Talk and Walk 2023 - Djeran
On this FREE community walk, learn about the Noongar season of DJERAN in the Perth Region. The six seasons played an integral role in the yearly cycle of travel and resource collection for Noongar people. These walks take you to where Noongar people would have been during that season and shares some information about the resources that were available for food, medicines, and materials.
Led by Sister Kates Home Kids Aboriginal Corporation this talk and walk will share contemporary history and traditional ecological knowledge. Each event is unique and a chance to listen and learn about our cultural and natural heritage.
