David Hardwick will explore the practical challenge of how to enhance the positive relationships between fungi & plants in modern farming systems & the tools we can use to assess & improve the fungal communities in crops & pasturesJohn Barton from Charton & Bang will present on “Soil Carbon for Fungi & compost as an input. We'll have a compost making demonstration in celebration of National Week of Composting. Nakala Maddock The Science of Vermiculture for Next Generation Agriculture- Farming systems are changing, we are relearning the role biology plays in plant health, & the humble worm is critical to not only plant health but improving soil structure.
It's International Day of Plant health and we'll hear from Dr Jordan Bailey on Plant Biosecurity Research &Development NSW DPI & Adam Frew will explore managing of AM fungi to enhance crop protection from pests & disease$35w/lunch
