FUNCTIONAL NEUROARTICULAR SYSTEM LEVEL 1 (FNAS L1)
About
FNAS L1 is an advanced clinician training with particular focus on the examination and treatment of deep and cutaneous nerves. The course changes clinicians' focus towards treating neuromobility and neurointegrity thus resolving pain and movement dysfunction. Level 1 incorporates issues pertaining to the lower body including, but not limited to foot, ankle, leg, thigh, knee, hip, gluteal, lower abdominal and lower back/sacral pain. Participants will learn to assess and treat the tibial nerve, common fibular nerve, femoral nerve, lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, obturator nerve, gluteal nerves, cluneal nerves, all regional cutaneous nerves, pudendal nerve, Iliohypogastric nerve, ilioinguinal nerve, dorsal rami nerves and branches of these pathways. Methods of treatment will include direct manipulation with instruments/hands-on approaches, shockwave therapy, low level laser therapy and neuromobility exercises.
