Bridgette Allen - Royal Jazz
About
After two successful seasons of Jazz Queens curated by Bridgette Allen, and Brenton Fosdike’s recent sell out Neil Diamond concerts, they join forces to bring you some Royal Jazz, a foot tapping, finger clicking concert as they present some of the most popular jazz standards of all time. Coming from a musical family in South Australia, Brenton started his singing career in Perth in 1968. He has worked rooms from Australia to the UK and has worked with many greats, such as Ricky May and John Farnham. In the 70’s he was a member of ‘The Mixtures’ who scored a number one hit ‘The Pushbike Song’. Having been raised on Jazz through his father & with his Uncle and Aunt who had three Ball Rooms and big bands in Adelaide, Brenton feels he has come home to the music he has always carried in his heart. Bridgette and Brenton will be supported by the Mike Nelson Quartet featuring Mike Nelson on keys; Alistair Peel on bass; Garry Howard on drums and Ray Walker on guitar. A show not to be missed!Location
