• Join us as we operate one of our vintage steam engines with the historic Red Rattler Tait train on the Sunbury Line. These 6 shuttles will travel on a scenic return journey between Watergardens Station and Sunbury Station.

• With steam locomotive A2 986 hauling the Tait train, open the windows and experience the steam era. You may also join us on our transfer trains from Newport Station or Flinders Street Station to Watergardens Station in the morning or Watergardens Station to Flinders Street Station or Newport Station in the afternoon.

• Come along for a ride on The Vintage Train for a fun family day out through Melbourne's North Western suburbs. 

• 6 x return shuttles will depart Watergardens Station Platform 2 at 9:55am, 10:45am, 11:41am, 1:42pm, 2:35pm and 3:42pm. These will operate to Sunbury Station and return, passengers will not be able to join/leave the train at Sunbury Station.

• One way transfer trips will depart at the following times - 
  Newport Station at 8:41am from Platform 1 or Flinders Street Station 9:10am from Platform 10 to Watergardens Station arriving at 9:40am.
  Watergardens Station at 4:21pm from Platform 2 to Flinders Street Station arriving at 4:57pm or Newport Station arriving at 5:30pm.

• NOTE: Newport arrival and departure is from the Railway Station, you are unable to board at our workshops at Newport.
