Pool Lifeguard (Blended) Accreditation - PORTLAND
This FREE Pool Lifeguard (Blended) Accreditation course will equip candidates with the skills and knowledge required to supervise swimming pool users.
The course focus includes pool surveillance, scanning techniques, rescue skills, oxygen resuscitation and emergency care and is facilitated by Life Saving Victoria.
This course is FULLY subsidised and open to young people aged 16-25 years by FUSE South West through the VicHealth Big Connect funding.
The training will be held from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 August at the Portland Leisure & Aquatic Centre to make the opportunity more accessible to our local youth.
eLearning is required for this blended course and must be completed prior to attending the face-to-face component.
Once registered, participants will receive an email with details to complete the final part of their enrolment with LSV for accreditation.
