Presenter and moderator, Megan Miller shares industry research and her own insights to give an overview of current trends for 2023 and identify challenges, opportunities and digital maturity in the sector. Our panel bring their own experiences to the table, responding with their take on key research findings as it applies in practice and how they manage the issues discussed. Topics explored include: 

  • Biggest challenges and key issues impacting the industry
  • Top technology trends and digital evolution for practices
  • Top initiatives for practices in their own regions for securing or retaining the right talent and responding to financial pressures
  • Advice for architecture practices for a successful 2023 and beyond

Panellists

Megan Miller, Director of Product Marketing with Deltek, will present industry trends and act as moderator for the panel while also sharing her own insights for practices along with our experienced practice leaders. Represented on the panel are:

Gilda Donegan, Director of Architecture, Studio Leader at GHDWoodhead in Brisbane. Gilda is also ACA Qld/NT Branch President.

Fiona Bottcher, Head of Business and Finance, Carr Architecture and Interior Design in Melbourne.

Matthew Thomas, Director at JPE Design Studio in Adelaide. Matthew is also a qualified Chartered Accountant, member of our ACA SA Branch Committee of Management and ACA National Treasurer Delegate.
