Paul Anderson comes from Tarland, Aberdeenshire, on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. He is one of Scotland's most respected and acclaimed traditional musicians & composers with a musical lineage that goes directly back to Niel Gow, the "father of Scottish fiddle music".Paul has performed across the globe and is a regular on TV and radio. He was a musical advisor for the recent film adaptations of Sunset Song and Whisky Galore (in which he made a cameo appearance!). He has composed over 700 tunes in the traditional style as well as a symphony inspired by the people, landscape and history of the Scottish Highlands.
In addition to performing for all senior members of the British Royal Family including Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III, he has performed for NATO, various Heads of State, and for Sir Sean Connery at Edinburgh Castle.
