2023 WEST TORRENS BLITZ CLASSIC
About
The inaugural WEST TORRENS BLITZ classic is a BLITZ Chess tournament proudly presented by the West Torrens Chess Club in conjunction with SAJCL and the South Australia Chess Association. This exciting one-day Swiss event is open to all South Australian chess players of all levels and experience. There will be both an Open and Junior section with a combined prize pool of over $1,100. This event will be ACF rated and the time controls for this event are set to FIDE standard (5 minutes plus 3 seconds increment per move, 5/3). There will be a total of 13 rounds to determine the overall prize winners: Top 4 in the open section and Top 4 in the junior section. Gift vouchers will also be awarded for best rating performances in both sections.This event will be catered for. (Food included in price)
Make sure you book early! Limited tickets available. NOTE: All tickets sold on the day of the event will come with an additional $5 surcharge.
