Honouring the original sound of classic Motown and Soul music, Motor City Sounds return to Memo Music Hall to play two big sets of your favourites. Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, The Temptations, The Supremes, Sam & Dave and many more...

Motor City Sounds recreate the essence and atmosphere of Motown and Soul from the 60s and 70s, with authentic arrangements and instrumentation. All the big hits from the era plus a few "deeper cuts" from Northern Soul, Stax, Atlantic and more.

Performance credits include Melbourne’s “Soul a Go-Go”, White Night (Melbourne & Ballarat), Backing “The Merindas” at Crown Casino, CluBarham, Ballarat’s Begonia Festival and warm-up band for ABC TV’s “Q & A”, and of course, Memo Music Hall!
