About
Rigid Heddle Workshop for beginners and for those who would like to explore additional features of the loom. Tutoring will run in parallel.
For Beginners Using the Rigid Heddle loom you will learn how to set it up and prepare a warp. You will explore many creative and experimental possibilities with plain weave structure and make a sampler. You will then receive guidance to develop your own project using the techniques learned.
For those who have some experience with a Rigid Heddle Loom
With assistance from the tutor, explore further the creative possibilities of the Rigid Heddle Loom. This can include Double Weaving or other techniques.
Rigid Heddle Looms are available to hire from CSW.
Yarn for the first set up, then participants must provide their own yarn for additional projects.
