Climate Adaptation Workshops for Local Government - Creswick
About
These Free workshops aim to assist sustainability and community-facing teams from local governments in the Grampians region to develop effective projects and policy on climate adaptation through:• learning about the Grampians Regional Climate Adaptation Strategy 2021 (GRCAS) and how LGAs are already applying it in their own planning and strategies,
• sharing and comparing existing strategies and projects that align and build on the GRAS, and
• networking to consider opportunities for regional collaboration.
The workshops will be facilitated by Hepburn Shire Council staff with presentations from CSIRO, DEECA, and others. A detailed agenda will be sent to all participants in advance of the event.
Please RSVP by 8 June. All staff are welcome, but spaces are limited to 30 for each workshop.
