Aquaguards 3 day workshop
About
Aquaguard is a three-day workshop for participants aged 11-17 years and held at the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre. The sessions are designed for participants to develop swimming and water safety knowledge, carry out aquatic rescues and further first aid and CPR skills. Participation in this training aims to provide a pathway to lifeguarding.Fleurieu Aquatic Centre will supply participants with the following:
• Aquaguard Learners Guide
• Aquaguard merchandise pack
• Intro to being a pool lifeguard
• Aquaguard completion certificate
• CPR accreditation (valued at $65)
• Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea each day
• Program delivered by qualified instructors and lifeguards
• Pathways to further lifeguard training and employment
