CHARACTERS:There are 19 unique characters in this play but casting is flexible.
Northern Maine accents are required for the below roles. Some vocal coaching will be provided during rehearsals but a general American accent is required for auditions.
*Please note that none of these characters have a specified age, so anyone of any age can apply to audition for any role.
PETE and GINETTE, who have been dating for a little while
EAST, a repairman, and GLORY, a hiker
JIMMY, a heating and cooling guy, SANDRINE, his ex-girlfriend, and a salty WAITRESS
MARVALYN, a woman who is very good at protecting herself, and STEVE, an open, kind fellow whose brother protects him
GAYLE and LENDALL, longtime girlfriend and boyfriend
RANDY and CHAD two County boys OR: DEENA and SHELLY two County girls
PHIL and MARCI a hard working husband and his hard working wife
HOPE, who has travelled the world, and a MAN who has not
RHONDA a tough woman and DAVE the not so tough man who loves her
