Public meeting - What's The Voice to Parliament really about
AboutThe Albanese government proposed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice in the Australian Constitution is the wrong way to recognise Aboriginal people. Poverty, disadvantage and despair is not caused by lack of a voice. It’s caused by lack of economic participation. Recognising a better way means recognising economic participation is the only way to close the gap and that every government policy and initiative should be obsessively focussed on these outcomes.
Please come along to this public meeting to hear from former Labor Minister and Secretary of Recognise a Better Way, Dr Gary Johns, Leader of One Nation and Senator for Queensland, Pauline Hanson, and South Australian One Nation MP, Sarah Game. The event will be MC'd by former Liberal Senator Cory Bernardi.
